RAISING FLOORS
Expanded polystyrene (EPS) has ideal physical and mechanical qualities for raising floors when converting an old building, or to pour an apron slab on low weight-bearing surfaces. EPS is also used in the manufacture of tiered rows of seats for classrooms.
